What is Hello Bertie?
Hello Bertie is an AI assistant that talks to your existing bank on your behalf — so you can manage invoices, balances, and payments by chat. You speak to Bertie on Telegram, WhatsApp, or our web chat; Bertie does the rest.
Bertie is not a bank, a wallet, or an investment platform. It is a software layer that sits between you and the bank you already use.
What Bertie helps you do
- Organise invoices. Send a PDF or a photo and Bertie reads the amount, payee, due date and reference, then files it for you.
- Check balances and history. Ask in plain language — "how much did I spend on rent last month?" — and Bertie reads it live from your bank.
- Schedule and make payments. Pay registered payees now, or schedule for a future date. Every payment needs your explicit confirmation before it leaves the bank.
The conversational part and the banking part of Bertie are kept deliberately separate. The AI never sees your banking passwords or session tokens.
